Jmenuju se Lucie, ale pro většinu kamarádů a známých jsem Lucy. Je mi 22 a jsem Češka. Žiju v Německu a studuji obor International Business (Mezinárodní obchod) v Drážďanech. V rámci studia musím absolvovat odbornou stáž v zahraničí. Našla jsem si stáž ve Spartanburgu v Jižní Karolíně v USA. Budu pracovat v personálním oddělení firmy Stankiewicz International Corporation. Ve Státech zůstanu 6 měsíců (plus nějaké to cestování na závěr) a tento blog bude dokumentovat celý můj pobyt. Blog bude psaný v češtině a angličtině, aby mu většina mých příbuzných a přátel rozuměla.

My name is Lucie, but most friends call me Lucy. I’m 22 and I’m Czech. I live in Germany and study International Business in Dresden. As a part of my studies, I have to do an internship abroad. My internship is in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in the USA. I'm going to be working in the Human Resources department of Stankiewicz International Corporation. I'm going to stay in the States for 6 months (plus some traveling after that) and this journal is to document the whole trip. It will be written in Czech and English, so that most of my family and friends can read and understand it. And here's my blog from the previous semester, which I spent in Russia.
